Good evening folks! Tonight at 8 p.m. in Math 203 (UPDATE: It’s in Hamilton 602! Also it will be starting a little later than 8 p.m.!), the last Columbia Political Union-sponsored debate of the year will take place between the CU Democrats and the Columbia University College Republicans. The topic: Should public sector workers be allowed to form unions? Wild guess here, but the Democrats will probably take the side of “Yes” while the Republicans say “No.”
For those of you who find this interesting, but not interesting enough to actually go to the debate, never fear! We will be liveblogging all the action right here. Just join us after the jump, hit “refresh” periodically, and keep on doing whatever other stuff you’re doing. More »
