At 11:00 p.m. on Monday, March 15, the women’s basketball team finds out if their season is over. It didn’t end this past Saturday as it did for the men’s team. The women’s team is in contention to make the post-season NIT competition–another first for the program’s history.

Players have been asked to put their Spring Break plans on hold in case the team has to pack their bags and get on a plane on Tuesday morning. This uncertainty also means that the players, who usually have midterms week to let their bodies recover from the grueling season, will have to stay in the gym and in their practice jerseys for at least another week.
