Move-in has officially begun. Welcome to all the new Lions!  Be sure to check out the Orientation issue of the paper, which is out tomorrow. In addition, we’ll be posting helpful info and advice here throughout the week, and tweeting photos from our Twitter account, as well as posting them to our Facebook page — make sure to tag yourself and your friends!

But why should we be the ones taking all the pictures? You’ll probably be taking plenty of your own, and we want to see them! Check out our photo contest and take pictures of the sights around campus. Our favorite will run on Spec’s front page, and we’ll also be picking a fan favorite based on Facebook “likes.” You can post your photos to Spec’s Facebook page, tweet them to @CU_Spectator, or submit them by email to photo@columbiaspectator.com. Go outside, snap a few photos, and show us your Columbia!
