Student councils host homecoming week events

Homecoming is this weekend. The football game is against Dartmouth. If you need a little help getting excited, the student councils have got your back — they’re hosting a bunch of events all week to make sure you stay pumped. Here’s the rundown:

Monday: Free pizza on Low Plaza. This one is over and the free pizza is already in everyone else’s stomachs. It went fast!

Tuesday: Founders Day BBQ on Lehman Lawn, 11:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Carnival featuring “bouncy castles, popcorn, music, and wuv,” 5 p.m.—7 p.m on Low Plaza. The wuv is actually why the castles are bouncing.

Thursday: Fingerpainting, hot cocoa, mini donuts, cookies. Free stuff for anyone wearing Columbia Blue! 5 p.m.—7 p.m. on Low Plaza.

Friday: Open mic on Van Am quad, 6 p.m.—9 p.m. If you’re interested in participating in the open mic, email Loren Myers at ljm2165@columbia.edu.

All of these events are being co-sponsored by SGA, CCSC, GSSC, and ESC.

that has this many NON-ALCOHOLIC events for homecoming week. Can we get some kegs on Low Plaza and put on a tailgate or would that be too much normal/fun for this school?

“FINGERPAINTING, HOT COCOA, MINI DONUTS, COOKIES” — that got me excited in 3rd grade. Columbia, appreciably increase your donor participation rate by allowing ONE, just ONE, standard university experience all year. I promise, a sip of beer and we’ll be back to Butler and fighting the evil corporations, Republicans, and mainstream music.

Too many books in Butler. Let’s knock down some shelves and add more tables for studying.
