Spotted: Banksy stuffed animal truck drives past Columbia
Did you happen to see a slaughterhouse delivery truck filled with stuffed animals drive past campus today? It’s Banksy’s latest piece of art, and it drove past Columbia around 11.30 am. The stuffed animal/slaughterhouse delivery truck was spotted driving down Broadway, and then through 114th between Broadway and Amsterdam. FYI, it’s called “Sirens of the Lambs”.
Confirmed to be his latest piece by the elusive British street artist’s official website, this moving exhibit started its tour of the city on October 11, beginning with the Meatpacking District (pretty fitting, I suppose) and continued to tour the rest of the city for two weeks.
