‘On Wednesdays we wear pink’

Goooooooood morning, Columbia! It’s October 3rd. And if your Facebook newsfeed isn’t being bombarded and/or you just don’t understand the significance of this date… well, I suppose a wake-up call of sorts really is in order.

Mean Girls The Greatest Film of Our Time is currently available for streaming on Netflix. Get to work!

In other news, here’s the news:

Read this: Barnard president DSpar reaches out to students via op-ed about the difficult decision to significantly decrease the school’s budget.

Know this: Dean Hinkson and other important administrators made a cameo at the first SGA town hall of the semester, taking time to listen to students’ frustration with the housing shortage this past summer and other… slights in transparency.

Here’s more: It’s been a good season for Penn and Princeton, and a so-so to “meh” season for just about every other Ivy League team.

–and that’s it! I guess I’ll be seeing you all in two weeks. JAMBO!

It’s also German Reunification Day (that wasn’t in Mean Girls, but it could have been, you know? It could have been)!
