Morningside Heights is on tornado watch

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for New York City until 9 p.m. tonight. An email to undergraduate students from Public Safety also shares information about predicted thunder storms in our area. Students are asked to “keep windows closed and shades/blinds shut until the watch is lifted. In addition, you should keep computers [and] electrical items away for windows.”

The public safety alert also recommends that students stay inside tonight, but if you are planning on braving the elements tonight, you should at least stay close to campus and “monitor weather and traffic reports.” Check out photos of the calm before the storm after the jump.

Incredible! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a entirely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Great choice of colors!
