Ethical clothing line launches Columbia collection
Forget about the Columbia Bookstore— School House, a “socially responsible collegiate fashion brand,” has just launched their Columbia collection. Prices are even steeper than those at our local fashion joint (a.k.a. the Bookstore), but at School House, your money goes to a good cause: School House is committed to paying their employees fair and living wages. The company was founded by Fulbright Scholar Rachel Weeks, who studied ethical manufacturing in Sri Lanka where the company still maintains a factory.

…studying in the library at 3 a.m. before midterms:
Verdict: The “Princeton Prepster Hoodie,” which comes with a detachable “hood/scarf” (perfect for hiding bleary eyes and wiping away the tears of frustration induced by multivariable calculus), wins this battle—the Columbia option just looks a little generic.

…rolling out of that raging party and straight into bed:
Verdict: Well, if wearing pajamas in public is your thing… alright, let’s call this a tie. At least it’s better than the horrifying, rhinestone dog tag-tanks over at the school bookstore!

this is supa adorable!
bingo for scenario 2 NYU. big win.
this stuff has been at the bookstore since like last year.
Find a different advertising angle, nobody wants to think of the factory when they buy a product, even if it’s a socially responsible one.
