Columbia takes first in a college ranking for once

courtesy spaceandcinema.com

US News and World Report might have named us fourth in the US again, and we don’t exactly have the best grades on our College Prowler report card, but who cares, we have the best professors.

Huff Post and Unigo just named us as the school with the most number of famous faculty members. (Never mind that it might have been due to sheer voter turnout. At least we’re not too stressed to utilize our rights.)

According to them, most of our famous faculty are from the film industry. Milos Forman of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Amadeus fame lectured here and James Shamus, CEO of Focus Features, is a professor in our film department.

They also mention Brian Greene and new faculty member Judith Butler, post-structuralist, political, and feminist philosopher, queer theorist, and author.

Is there anyone else that Unigo and Huffington Post forgot to mention who should have been on the list?
