Bedbug breakout in EC

Source: Spectator

East Campus is facing a potential bed bug breakout.

Students residing on the 16th floor of the building reported that their suites were visited by maintenance this afternoon to place bed bug traps as a precaution due to incidences of bed bugs on the 18th floor above. One maintenance worker indicated that a few suites on 18 were experiencing bed bug problems but did not say specifically how many. Housing has not yet responded to Spectator requests for comment. Send us any information you have at tips@columbiaspectator.com.

Spectrum’s thoughts on the breakout: An appropriate almost-goodbye-present, perchance? Or just payback from the natural elements for all the debauchery that its floors (and beds) have played host to in the last year?¬†Watch where you sleep, because the morning after may not be as fun.

Properties are over run due to denial. No known chemical can stop them. Traps useless.
