Shortly after 8:30 p.m. NYPD arrested a man on College Walk after receiving word from a librarian about an incident. Students say the suspect, wearing a yellow hoodie in the photo, after running from Uris Hall was tackled and handcuffed at the bottom of the steps at College Walk. Police searched his bag and students say he was yelling, “What did I do?” Afterwards, he was taken away in one of the NYPD cars.

There were four public safety cars and two undercover police cars, including the taxi in the photo. Public Safety declined comment. Check later for updates.
