In Monday’s Opulent, we asked readers what they thought of Columbia’s 32% increase in undergraduate applications. After three days of scouring the student body, we have collected the results, and 67.65% of voters responded, “Suck it, Princeton.” We hope Cornel West will not hear the news. Statistics after the jump.
Suck it, Princeton — 67.65% of voters
“These numbers are meaningless.” — 15.69% of voters
My kid’s chances of getting in are plummeting! — 12.75% of voters
No!! My chances of getting in are plummeting! — 3.92% of voters
this is a stupid post. what do we have to prove by doing this meaningless survey? princeton people could care less what we think about them.
knowing that my peers and I share a hatred of Princeton makes me feel a sense of columbia community
It is now more difficult to get into Columbia than Princeton, and that is important. Among the ivies, only Harvard is more difficult to get into than Columbia.
you guys are so immature
couldn’t you have gotten that photo of Cornel West from a slightly less racist source?
Coming from a deferred applicant from Columbia’s early decision pool, I found this post rather comical.
