Verdict after the jump!
Verdict: Thai Market! Wondee’s perfectly stylish plating belies the flavorless Pad Thai. Not even a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of crushed peanuts can fix their noodles, so head across the street for more authentic Thai food. The menus that look like giant newspapers complete the decorations inspired by the streets of Thailand. It’s both unique and delicious. Plus, with an $8 lunch special that includes an appetizer and an entrée, you can’t go wrong.
Thai Market is located at 960 Amsterdam Avenue between 107th and 108th streets. Wondee Siam V is located at 969 Amsterdam between 107th and 108th streets.
