Joyride Truck returns for spring, gives students more sugar-filled trips

Devin Briski / Spec

Just in case Pinkberry and Uni Cafe aren’t quite satisfying your fro-yo needs, the Joyride Truck—which hasn’t been on campus since November—wheeled back to MoHi on Friday morning. More details and pics after the jump.

  • Joyride Truck parks at 115th Street and Broadway every Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • A small fro-yo costs $4 (without the tax)—they charge a sales tax.
  • For 50 cents more, you can order a “Buzzed” yogurt—tart flavored fro-yo with a dose of caffeine.
  • You can order as many toppings as you want for no additional cost (woot!).
  • Toppings include fresh fruit and “dessert-inspired toppings” like croquantes, organic maple granola, and oreos.
  • They have a buy 10 yogurts get one free card!
  • They serve Stumptown Coffee of all varieties (espresso, macchiato, cappucino, iced).
  • They have special drinks that include hot chocolate infused with espresso shots.
  • They also serve steel-cut oatmeal and yogurt parfaits.

If you can’t wait until Friday for some frozen goodness, follow the Joyride Truck on Twitter for updates on its current location. If you go straight to Joyride’s “find us” page, you’ll get an instant map of the truck’s location.
