It’s official! B is coming to CU
Finally, Blair is transferring to Columbia. After teasing us for months, the writers have come to their senses and aren’t messing around with any NYU nonsense anymore. Find out Blair’s unorthodox admission story after the jump.
While attending a gala at Columbia honoring best friend Serena’s father, Dr. Van der Woodsen, Blair runs into a Columbia admissions officer. She introduces herself and he recognizes the name and tells us he was just reading her application that morning. What a coincidence! He tells her that she’s been accepted, even though it’s against school policy to do so.
As Nate tells her later, it is Chuck, Blair’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, who sent in an application on her behalf. After all they’ve been through, Chuck really does love Blair.

I’m pretty sure there’s some Columbia muscle involved. After all Columbia needs all the promotion it can get, so clueless hopefuls apply, only so that their rejections push down that admission rate!
nah, the show needs a new plot line and let’s be honest, nyu was dragging down blair’s character and the show. columbia is much more blair’s scene and is the only ivy in nyc. so it makes logical sense blair would want to go there – plus, nate’s there.
must not watch the show, which is probably great for you but bad for the validity of your spectrum comments.
